Where does Regal Direct operate?
We currently collect and deliver to the following Auckland suburbs: City Centre, Castor Bay, Campbells Bay, Ellerslie, Epsom, Eden Terrace, Freemans Bay, Grey Lynn, Grafton, Greenlane, Glendowie, Herne Bay, Kingsland, Kohimarama, Mairangi Bay, Meadowbank, Milford, Mission Bay, Mount Eden, Northcote, Northcote Point, Orakei, Ponsonby, Parnell, Remuera, St Heliers, St Johns, St Mary’s Bay, Takapuna, Westmere. Use our address checker at the top of the page to confirm your address is within our collection zone. We're constantly working to extend our delivery zone, and hope to include additional suburbs in the near future.
Is there a minimum order value?
Our minimum order of $40 applies to orders to qualify for free pick-up and delivery.
How do I pay?
All payments are processed automatically & securely online using Payment Express. Your credit card information is not stored by Regal Drycleaners and cannot be accessed. You will be required to enter your credit card details the first time you register online and you will only be directed to do this again when your card has or is due to expire.
How long does cleaning take?
Our standard turn-around is 3 days, however you can request an express order when you order a collection online which will have your garments returned in 2 working days. Some specialist services such as leather and bridal may require extended turn-around periods.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact our Deliveries Co-ordinator on 09 520 6040 ext 2 to cancel your collection. We require 1 hour notice prior to the start of your selection collection window.
How does contactless pick-up and delivery work?
All pickups and deliveries must be contactless. Our driver will leave your garments somewhere safe, either hung if possible, or laid flat under shelter. Our driver will knock and then leave, to alert you of the delivery. If there is nowhere safe or sheltered, and if no specific notes were left for delivery, our driver will not be able to leave the garments and will not knock. Any pick ups must be left outside for our driver. There is an option to add delivery notes when booking.
Can I reschedule my delivery?
Please contact our Deliveries Co-ordinator on email@example.com to reschedule your delivery. We require 3 hours notice prior to your selected delivery window. We do charge a $10 redelivery fee for orders that are unable to be delivered without prior notice.
What happens if I’m not home to collect my order?
We don’t believe in risk taking, not during our cleaning process, or during our delivery. You will receive a text message with location-tracking, when our driver is on their way to deliver your order. If nobody is available to receive the order upon delivery, you will receive a text to reschedule delivery at a later date. We charge a $10 redelivery fee for deliveries unable to be completed.
When will I receive my personalised drycleaning bag?
You will receive your personalised drycleaning bag with the delivery of your first order. This bag can be used to make future orders even easier!
Where are my clothes cleaned?
Unlike other online drycleaning services we don’t outsource, all garments are cleaned by our specialists at our Newmarket facility. Regal is widely regarded as the best drycleaner in Auckland and is the drycleaner of choice for leading NZ fashion designers, so you know that your garments are in good hands.
What do you use to clean my garments?
At Regal, our team of drycleaning and stain removal specialists use gentle, eco-friendly cleaning solutions, that ensure that our environment and your body stay toxin-free. We take our eco-position seriously, packaging garments in fully bio-degradable film, as well as running a hanger and bag recycling programme.
